Demolish unsafe govt and private buildings

The government should survey and identify unsafe and dangerous  buildings in Goa to initiate demolition or repair work of such infrastructure to prevent any mishap especially during monsoon season.  The field staff should initiate the yearly survey of buildings or houses in their areas.  Many of the buildings have had incidents of concrete pieces falling down during monsoon, making the situation dangerous.  Some of the unsafe buildings are in the heart of the city and some buildings are unoccupied but still pose a danger to people.  Old buildings may have structural problems or don't meet modern building codes, making them unsafe or impractical to maintain and renovate.  Some tenants refuse to vacate the property, which poses hurdles for repair or demolition of the building,  Old buildings are now becoming a source of concern to many people due to safety reasons. In fact, some people suggest that old houses and buildings have outlived their lifespan and should be taken down.
