The last Lok Sabha election results was clear evidence of how a united opposition could win the South Goa seat. And now it appears that Congress party has got arrogant in saying that they will go solo and fight the elections. If there is no united opposition, I see a clear walk over for BJP in the 2027 Goa state elections. I think the BJP Goa leadership also knows the latter and hence are going about the destruction of Goa with arrogance. I request the leaders of opposition parties notably the Congress party to put the interests of Goa first and stop making it easier for the BJP to win the state elections in 2027. If not Goans should take to the streets and force the opposition parties to agree on consensus candidates.
