Goans have lost the plot to defeat BJP

Former Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has now reportedly decided to quit the BJP and to contest as an independent for not getting a ticket to contest.

Utpal Parrikar (the son of our former Chief Minister late Manohar Parrikar and who incidentally was solely responsible for single-handedly bringing the BJP to power in the state on so many occasions in the past) too has quit the BJP and is now reportedly getting all set to contest as an independent from Panjim. This clearly shows that currently "all is not well" in the BJP in Goa.

We Goans definitely had a golden opportunity to give a huge blow to the BJP this time by defeating all its candidates but seem to have slowly lost the plot due to the presence of so many new political parties like TMC and RG, besides AAP already in the fray.

A single opposition party would have been merely enough to easily defeat most of the BJP candidates. Unfortunately, today we have been bombarded with candidates from a number of different opposition parties and we Goans have been practically made to look like confused fools in Goa.

I think that Goans should therefore be extra vigilant this time and go to vote for the right candidates to still defeat the BJP and permanently stop the ongoing open destruction.
