This time the Congress High Command has decided to send none other than P Chidambaram to sort out the problems in Goa Congress. This is indeed a good change from the earlier moneybag ticket vendors. Why did they not take up the lead of an MLA phoning the cops to go soft on the Benaulim rape accused? For Goan voters this is not acceptable. Ask former Power Minister Digambar Kamat why he is silent on the BJP saying increased employment in the Electricity Dept will not raise tariffs? To Chidambaram himself: why has he taken in politicians from other parties who have criminal cases against them? Congress workers say there is a move to admit the sitting Calangute MLA; in that case it is the end of Congress in Goa and Chidambaram will be credited for this.
