The public is already feeling the pinch of unemployment due to pandemic. The ruling BJP-led government can’t blame the Congress for everything. Most of the the PSUs have been privatized. Employees DA, DR have been frozen. This is nothing short of organised loot and strangely such excesses are being tolerated by our netizens and the opposition parties without a murmur of protest? Just imagine the situation if the BJP had been in opposition today and the dramas they would have orchestrated. Parties like Congress and the Left have a lot to learn from them. It's the prices of petrol and diesel which will have a cascading effect on the prices of all commodities. Why are the oil companies deciding the prices? If Sri Lanka can sell petrol at Rs 51/litre, Nepal at Rs 53/litre, why government is levying Rs 53 as tax? Utter failure to control economy and an easy way to tax fuels which will increase prices of all essential commodities leading to inflation. In the future we may see ' Acche Din' of petrol and diesel prices touching Rs 1,000 before the BJP government term ends.
