Has the sunset arrived for the ambitious BJP?

The BJP juggernaut  has been checkmated  by voters. They have seen the difference between promises and action. All voters cannot be fooled all the time. The numerous visits and rallies in West Bengal and other poll-bound states are far to excessive for a PM, when the nation is facing an onslaught of Covid-19.

The shortage of health infrastructure, drugs, beds, oxygen continue despite the task force fiercely highlighting these priorities. But the BJP focus is on winning elections when the nation is reeling under deaths due to Covid? The might of BJP stalwarts and their mocking of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee  for months in advance of the polls has come to naught.  All those making boisterous claims about displacing Mamata should hang their heads in shame and quit politics. The results in Tamil Nadu, Kerala too have seen rout and decimation of BJP.

The aspiration to be an all India party has been laid to rest. They may engineer defections, poach prime candidates, use ED and I-T depts to harass opponents, or offer them inducements, power and position but the power of the ballot is no match for these treacherous methods.
