Hope Smart Road does not create problems in future

I thought some miracle has taken place for the Panaji roads when  the roads are all dugged up and was curious to know  which road has suddenly gone smart.   By the way, we have main important roads in Panaji such as Atmaram Borkar road, 18th June road, Dayanand Bandodkar road, MG road and Dr Jack Sequeira road but all these roads been heavily dug up. This particular road is an arterial road near the  Bal Bhavan  which ends at Fire Brigade starting from main road.

No doubt this road is done up well now. This complicated area where big sized pipeline having diameter of 20 and 40 cms are been routed both the sides,  one is ending near Fire Brigade and other one with the larger diameter will go towards Altinho and other parts of Panaji. This arterial road which is open for public for the last 3 days was completed in a hurry after so many months of struggle which will create an havoc to the Panjimites in future, as many cables and water pipes are routed through the drain earlier and the contractor has no track of these cables i.e. from where these cables are originated and now  one of the cable has landed at the vicinity of  Bal Bhavan and stopped and other one gone after digging below the main road and the authorities are confused where will they discharge the routing towards River Mandovi. This particular work entrusted by CCP and PWD under Smart City Mission is going to be a big failure and a curse for Panjimites and surely this line will be lifted after breaking this particular road within short duration of time. Hence this arterial road which was called Smart Road could be a mistake.
