With the bygone year set past the horizon of time with all its mixture of good and bad events happening , there is hardly anything notable to cherish or reminisce.The Ukraine/ Russian war was the darkest spot of the year, instead of diminishing, it's escalating with dreadful fury .Both sides taking pounding , and a beating on all their pristine landscapes and peoples. The Ukrainian terrain ravaged and totally marred ,with an exodus of refugees. Flurry of activities in the second half of the year with a successful launch and execution of a tremendously world renowned FIFA football World Cup in Qatar, first of its kind in the Arab world. Passing away of true legends of the game and sporting personalities like Maradona, Pele, Shane Warne, bringing epic grief and sadness in the world of sports they represented.
Explorations in space has scaled new peaks of moon and Mars, all new missions bearing justice in proven research in varying fields. Covid vaccines invented to annihilate the virus and curb its spread is still ongoing with the onset of ever growing number of new Covid variants, the latest being the BF-7 . Combating with newer drugs, the rapid rise of new variants is bizzare , challenging and demanding not having been able to rein in spread of the deadly infections for the past 3 years .
Societies are grappling with the ever increasing rise of rapes and murders, unable to control these menace. Rampant drug poliferations with smugglings and drug use are common criminal and health hazards in a world stricken with these crimes, goes unabated.
