Under the present Covid situation when almost all the people are financially affected is this increase justified?

If one compares their current and previous bills, one can observe that the overcharging of electricity units after an increase in units has changed.

Now we have to pay more after an increase in a few units and which further increases after an increase in further few units.

Is this overcharging to compensate for the losses that the department suffered due to the recent cyclone?

We hope the government reconsiders this increase in electricity charges and offers rebates to those who have paid the bills in fear of losing their connections.
