Increase and improve services at South Goa District Hospital

The South Goa District Hospital in Margao is constantly in the news due to its lack of proper facilities. Instead of offering comprehensive services to the people of South Goa, the hospital continues to send its patients to GMC. Many people have lost their lives en route to GMC due to the subpar services at the government hospital in Margao.

While the Health Minister, the CM, and our PM frequently emphasize the importance of citizens’ healthcare, they have failed to furnish the hospital with the necessary facilities to safeguard and preserve patients’ lives. Not every citizen in our country can afford the steep prices charged by private hospitals, forcing them to turn to government healthcare facilities.

Unfortunately, the hospital’s doctors consistently redirect them to the GMC. Where is the top-notch service promised by the BJP government to make the South Goa District Hospital in Margao the number one hospital in the district? The Health Minister should promptly investigate this issue and address all pending concerns that jeopardize the lives of patients by ensuring the provision of comprehensive facilities.
