Goa has always been a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, hospitality, perception, food, and relaxed fearless atmosphere. Some enjoyed Goa as a place for worship, fun, relaxation, and a break from the hustle and bustle to release any stress from their daily life. Today we Goans who often were seen as loving, friendly, hospitable, and culturally rich people are nursing unstable, uneasy concerns and living with fear, with what next to deal with. On the other hand, we see that law and order has derailed, with lawkeepers being involved in encouraging wrongdoings. I also remember the stories shared in the 60s that nobody would lock their yard, or doors, bicycle or watch their coconut or mango trees - today, we don't know who our neighbors are or what are their intentions. Did we think Goa would turn into this place in just over 50 years? No, for sure - this could only happen with the support of some selfish Goans, who are in a race to become rich and famous, but don't know what the future has is in store for them and their future generations.
