The investigating agencies in the State such as CID, ED, IT were quite active over a decade ago by investigating many cases and initiating action. The outcome of all such cases is unknown as all those involved in it got bail . It is noticed recently in a number of cases bail is obtained in a shorter period than time taken for arrest. Scams of all types are continuing abatedly so also cheating and forging documents, those living in flats able to have bungalows in posh areas, gold idols worth crores are offered periodically, investing in properties/lands. The political leaders are in the front followed by the public who imitate their leaders, yet there is not a single case of action taken or FIR registered. It seems that all these agencies are dormant at the moment and will wake up only after spoon feeding as they are blind and deaf to what is happening in the State and forget to initiate suo moto action. It is need of the hour that these agencies are vigilant and keep tab on scams and other illegal deals.
