Back home, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, other ministers and BJP leaders who had campaigned in Karnataka also failed to win the hearts of the people.
The government’s plan of a paid holiday for Kannadigas in Goa and the promise of sending KTC buses to Karnataka also did not click.
The people of Karnataka have decisively spoken through the ballot and have shown that they cannot be fooled all the time.
