Both intruders who broke into the Parliament on the December 13 were issued passes based on the recommendations of a BJP MP. Nowhere it is being said in news that this BJP MP was interrogated for his links with the intruders.
It is a major intrusion and instead of smoke bombs it could have been something more dangerous. Therefore the role of the BJP MP in this affair requires serious investigation.
In fact he should be suspended from Parliament in the interim. Instead of doing this the Speaker has suspended 15 Opposition MPs!
Why is the BJP-led government trying to hide the breakdown of security in Parliament and protect one of its own MPs? This is a sad state of affairs indeed. In the case of TMC MP Mahua Moitra, she was expelled from Parliament.
If you consider Moitra’s charge the intrusion was only using the email module of the Parliament computers but in the case of this intrusion the BJP MP has provided physical access to not one but two persons to create mayhem within the Hall of Parliament.
