Saligao MLA Kedar Naik was seen leading a tiranga bike rally last week along with his few die-hard supporters from well-maintained roads of Betim, Verem, Reis Magos, etc. Now, the question which I would really like to ask is that why MLA Naik did not bother to bring his tiranga bike rally via the fully damaged road stretch of Arrarim-Saligao ward (starting from Peggy's corner and heading right up to the Mater-Dei High School) and the road heading downwards or starting from Mhambre's/Menezes family house to Peggy's corner which is still in horrible condition since the last six months. Well, the Ganesh Chaturthi festival too is just round the corner and our Hindu brothers will start celebrating the same very soon. MLA Kedar Naik should therefore not try to hurt the religious sentiments of our Hindu brothers from Arrarim ward by casually making them to use the above two fully damaged roads whilst carrying their Ganeshas for immersions this time but should take things very seriously, put pressure on the PWD officials and get the above two roads fully restored before Ganesh Chaturthi.
