It is really shocking to see the reality in Margao Municipality Council where the same trouble makers come back getting elected and are against the daily wage workers and LDC staff.
Two months back MMC has increased the salary of 40 daily wage workers and 2 LDC staffers who has completed 10 years and above.
But now there are moves to reduce the salary of these same people by the new dispensation of the Congress and the Goa Forward with some councillors raising their voice.
It is also a known fact that the two LDCs are being harassed and there are other staffers who are fuelling this fire.
Earlier, everyone would blame the BJP, but now the true face of Congress and Goa Forward can be seen.
Top officials at the MMC should see that this internal politics stops and ensure the whole team works together leaving aside their egos.
Hope the MMC Chairperson and CO will take care of this matter as soon as possible.
