The Old Goa structure in a heritage area has created unnecessary trouble for people who are now on a fast against it. The Government is supposed to make the lives of people comfortable, but the Old Goa struggle doesn’t indicate so. On December 3, the Old Goa feast, MLAs and other leaders will be accommodated in the front row at the Eucharistic celebration. This has to now change as these politicians do not deserve the treatment they are accorded at the Mass. The seats should be reserved for senior citizens instead. The politicians must be shown their real place.
