Our politicians want to cash in on IIT project

Whilst the debate and battle is going on between the proponents of IIT at Sanguem and the rest,  in my opinion I don't think the question is whether GOA should set up IIT or not. The challenge however is the huge lack of credibility of the Goa Government including its highly corrupt ministers and MLAs.   It is well known that most of Goan MLAs are businessmen or entered politics to make a lot of money versus actual service to the people!

Sanguem is one of the last bastions of beautiful Goa, it is evident that IIT there will spur massive real estate boom to which, it is obvious that quite a few Goa politicians are already planning to make it a reality so they can cash in on the profits of the anticipated real estate boom.

Why is the Goa govt not looking at Farmagudi where there is already a setup for higher education and suitable land available ! Why was the SEZ land not considered?   To reiterate, I don't actually believe the Goa government has common man's interests at heart. Therefore my opposition to the project.
