The residents of Dandeavaddo approached the Pollution Control board for assistance. They requested for measuring the unprecedented noise generated by rumbler nuisance at Dandeavaddo.
The affected residents have also the protection of noise pollution act by vehicular sources after 10 pm; but this unbearable nuisance is24x7. We assured to bear the costs if need be. The request by email was sent 3 months ago but not even a courtesy response was received.The PCB was contacted many times but each time the answer was about checking on the complaint.
Does PCB exist to attend to the genuine grievances of the citizens or is it an 'ornamental' dept rushing expeditiously only at dance music venues? Why such callous indifference to repeated reminders? Is it not our right to expect a response from a public funded govt dept?
