People must not give in to religious bigots

A rabid Hindutva outfit in Uttar Pradesh demanded that the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, UP, should stop purchasing attires for the deities which are made by Muslim artisans.  In response the chief priest of the Banke Bihari Temple held a press conference and declared that the temple management has dismissed the absurd demand. He said, "Muslims have been making 99 per cent of the deity's clothes since the temple was inaugurated and that the managing committee refuses to discontinue this tradition. Those making such impositions want to hurt the Muslim artisans financially but we respect every religion and every human being's right to subsistence ." A big shout out to Banke Bihari temple management for not buckling to this nefarious game plan of polarizing us on communal lines. If Hindus really want to save their religion then they should save it from the fanatics within their own community. Hindu 'Khatre Mein Hai'....yes I agree, but from those overzealous hatemongers and self appointed defenders of the faith. We just need to unitedly stand up to these malcontents because bigoted bullies are basically cowards at heart.
