Petrol pumps should be moved out of city limits

This is regarding the fire which broke out at the Verna industrial estate. About 33 cars caught fire and were destroyed. These cars were parked for servicing and the cause of the fire was probably the grass around  which caught fire due to negligence of personnel from the car manufacturing unit. If the grass was periodically cut this calamity could have been avoided. This kind of situation could occur when the petrol pumps are allowed to be installed near public areas and we know in Panaji city we have half a dozen petrol pumps that none of the authorities have stopped from operating. Hope the authorities take measures for the safety of the public and hopefully the pumps could be shifted out of the city limits.
