PM Modi should hold press conference on Adani issue

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi whilst participating in the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in Lok Sabha had posed a volley of questions for Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Adani-Hindenburg issue and had asked him as to why he was selectively helping controversial businessman Gautam Adani to expand his business empire throughout the world right after 2014 through his own numerous official foreign trips.  

Unfortunately, PM Modi instead of answering these questions was heard entertaining his own party leaders in his usual style in the Lok Sabha the other day and self glorifying himself by continuously talking about the so-called ‘achievements’ of his own government in India.  

I think that PM Modi, instead of self- glorifying himself by reading some ready-made drafted speeches in Parliament to distract Indians, should dare to hold just one open press conference and give some direct answers for all the genuine media persons of our country to make things very clear over the Adani-Hindenburg issue.
