The recent online classes and online exams which have been started by most of the schools and educational institutions have still not stabilised and children are still facing difficulties.
To conduct online classes mobile network is an absolute necessity. And to have a flawless mobile network, uninterrupted electricity is required.
In many rural areas power shutdowns are being announced by the electricity department without any proper planning. On March 8, a shutdown was proposed by electricity department in Collem which never happened.
It is understood that after four hours of shutdown the battery of the mobile tower drains out which later affects the network. This results in connectivity issues. The most affected are students in rural areas who are answering their exams online.
With this academic year almost coming to a close, we hope that the Education Department commences physical classes from June so that students can prepare and answer their exams peacefully.
