Power sharing is name of game in Karnataka

All dust has finally settled in the 96-hour high voltage politics, as CM elect Siddaramaiah takes over the reigns of power, while his deputy DK Shivkumar has settled for his allotted post in Bengaluru. All Congressmen nationwide have exuded confidence that a stable and enduring government will rule the Karnataka assembly. Renewed confidence has been experienced in the grand old party with a well oiled machinery gearing for bigger future  challenges like the parliamentary elections to come next year. Renewed enthusiasm has gripped the office bearers and karyakartas with this emphatic electoral victory .Heavy and plum cabinet portfolios will be rewarded to both leaders for bringing laurels to the Congress party as well as the state. These two have instilled a confidence building consensus in a democratic way  within the party and in a small way on the national scenario. Everyone's voice should be heard is the motto, from bottom up and not other way round, forming a true constitutional ideals of democracy. Both were highly capable  qualified leaders worthy of steering the sunshine state to higher horizons, without any political  renegade glitches.

Gutter covers in Panaji city are obsolete

Nobody has done any research into these gutter covers. Only it looks that few Panjimites are interested. Even ex Mayors none of them took any interest to get the gutters operational and in fact the passage of rain water going to river Mandovi is still blocked.  CCP is yet to open their eyes.
