Our beloved son of the soil, Fr Bolmax left us a little too early when  Goans needed him to be with them through the rough times that we are enduring right now. Fr Bolmax was a guiding star to the youth of Goa. He was a scholar at heart. He pursued his education without any compromise and was an Assistant Professor in Botany. He passed on his wisdom down to the youth and  the public in general in Goa. He loved the environment. He inculcated love for farming amongst the youth.  He deeply loved our mother tongue Konkani and  encouraged young Konkani artists to take forward the language of Goa through their dramas , cultural programmes. He strongly fought against environmental destruction caused by our government. Fr. Bolmax could forecast the degradation of our environment and the disasters that it would  cause  for  the future generations. He always stood up for the welfare of Goans at large.  I have no doubt, that our beloved Fr Bolmax will continue to inspire younger generations for the welfare of Goa from his heavenly abode.
