Those in power must not demean own people

Even the Indian kings and queens of yore may not have insulted their citizens as done by several of those who are now in power and have authority. People have been compared to cattle-class and called termites, leeches, vermins, pests, dogs, roaches and many more  Hopefully, these 'respected' people include their families and friends in the above categories. We have even been told to hound, maim and shoot at one another. The powers-that-be not only offend the citizens, but their own positions by such utterances and instigations. The dignity and decorum of the offices that they hold are lowered. It is unbecoming of those in power to demean their own people. The irony is that though we are called names, we are amazingly highly tolerant. Most of us end up voting, praising, worshipping and placing the insulters on a pedestal, on a local to global level. It is time that we reflect if we are so unworthy to be addressed with derogatory terms, and if we deserve leaders and authorities who do not respect their own country men and women.
