Provide safer premises for fish vendors

At the villages of Adpai and Durbhat in Ponda, fish vendors have been occupying the roadside on regular basis. Such an undesirable practice could prove dangerous for them. With the existing road being narrow in size, vehicles proceeding with full speed are likely to knock down these vendors sooner or later. This would lead to serious injuries in the process. Over the years, this important matter has not received attention from the local village panchayat, viz the VP of Adpai-Durbhat. Ultimately, precious human lives face great danger while occupying the above strategic locations in order to earn for their livelihood. It is absolutely necessary that the fish vendors are assured safer premises on priority basis so that they can continue their trade with great pleasure. Let us hope that at least now some favourable action would follow in the interest of above community.
