Recently we celebrated the Road Safety Week and it was surprising to see the road divider in Mapusa city stationed right on the zebra crossing markings.
First one fails to understand if the authorities and the traffic police have approved the Zebra Crossing at this spot. There are no sign boards fixed at the Zebra Crossing on both ends of the road.
To make matters worse and confusing to the pedestrians there is white painting on the tarred road and the divider is stationed in the middle of the divider.
Will the authorities rectify the situation in order to avoid any deaths to those pedestrians who may try to cross the road?
