The condition of the entire main road stretch of Arrarim at Saligao i.e. starting from Peggy's corner and heading right across Palmeiras mansion, Sacrulla's house, Padmanab building & going much further is still in a horrible state.
The same is still giving nightmares for office-goers, people going for walks and those going for Mass everyday even after a month due to its complete bombardment by PWD. In fact, some people using this particular road are feeling that they are not in Saligao but in some mining area.
The worse sufferers are residents whose houses are located right across this particular stretch as dust is still seen entering their houses after the passing of every moving vehicle.
I think that the concerned authorities should stop testing the patience of the locals and instead should instruct PWD to speed-up their ongoing 'dhadai-bhodoi' work, get the above damaged road stretch fully restored. Hope better sense prevail.
