At Ribandar Patto, government has constructed a new jetty, and there are many people including tourists visiting this jetty as in the evening you get beautiful view of the Panaji city, Mandovi Bridge and sunset. Many are seen with their children on this open jetty which is not having any kind of barricades and as such any incident could happen and if someone falls in the river at the time of high tide there is less possibility of their survival. Requesting the government authorities to take appropriate decision on this and put proper sign boards, and barricades and to cover all the open spaces with proper grills wherever necessary so that innocent lives are not lost.
