It is funny to see how our system works in the Village Panchayat. In the Village Panchayat area of Guridolim, speed breaker signboards are placed near the Chandor School gate, the road which goes to cemetery and towards HDFC Bank that don't have speed breakers on the road. The same is noticed near the Syndicate Bank.
Where the speed breakers are there, there are no sign broads but where the speed breakers are not there are sign broads. Even the various signbroads like directions of wards, directions and speed breakers are totally corroded and washed out.
I request the village panchayat office of Guridolim and the MLA to look into this matter. The sign board of the wards' directions in Chandor village was brought to the notice of the MLA but action to replace it is still pending and looks like the present MLA does not want to complete this job in the interest of the public.
