There is no proper garbage storage arrangement made for South Goa PDA market. The fruit and vegetable vendors dispose off their waste in the parking area near the sulabh shauchalay which attracts cattle, rodents, dogs and cats.
During the monsoons there is an unbearable stench emanating from the bio degradable waste.
Why can't the municipality provide for bins so that the waste is contained before pick up?
The matter needs urgent attention before it escalates into a public health emergency.
