The Valpoi police finally arrested one youngster on charges of offending the religious sentiments of the Muslim community in the State by posting derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad on social media.
Members of the Muslim community in different parts of the State were seen protesting peacefully and demanding immediate arrest of the person involved in making the derogatory comments against Prophet Muhammad on social media and for hurting their religious sentiments.
The police should now take strict action against the above arrested person which should act as an exemplary lesson for others.
It has indeed become a fashion for such communal fanatics to casually make derogatory remarks against other people's Gods/religions on a daily basis on social media by using their fake IDs and get away.
