A talent is gift from God, to showcase talent we got gift of Tiatr Industry which is surviving for more than 125 years and will be carried forward by our new generation, a great achievement for tiatr Industry in Goa . A tribute of love and respect for our great tiatrists who are no more among us but their memories are always there in our heart and mind.
When I was a kid I have to put tiatr poster which were thrown by the pickup who was coming to make annocement of the the next Konkani drama outside our house. I have even tied on my body posters of tiatr and used to go through the wards to inform people about dramas. Our mother tongue language Konkani is still kept alive by our tiatrist brothers and sisters who have always tried their best to produce good songs, best comedy and romance, action stories. I like to thank the people of Goa and our Goans throughout the world who have always come in large numbers to watch the drama and kept our Konkani alive. You support has taken our Goan talent and skill forward. Tiatrist have sacrificed a lot as they have to travel here and there for their shows and many have to attend to their duties without rest. May the Lord use every artist to motivate and encourage our lovely audience who love to watch tiatrs for decades. Happy Tiatr Day to one and all.
