After several complaints sent to Superintendent of Police North, the Dy SP Vishwesh Karpe, Calangute “Porvorim Police station issued advisory to the travel agencies/hoteliers to park the tourist buses at the designated notified area provided by the village panchayat and the hoteliers should make their own arrangement to take their guest in mini-buses to their destination.
The multi residential guest houses have no parking space for buses hence they are parked at the “No Parking Zone” at Ditoza Circle and other internal roads causing nuisance, traffic congestion, endangering lives and safety of the residents, pedestrians and two wheelers.
The undersigned complained on ERSS No 112 Panaji but the violation repeats with impunity for reasons best known to Calangute Police Traffic.
