Voters’ fate post-election

The tragedy of voters is that no MLA or MP cares for voters after they win the election. So many able boys and girls are working in Goa government service on a contract basis. This trend was started by the great Manohar Parrikar.

There is no liability on the government to provide provident fund, gratuity, etc., and the government can sack them without notice. Persons gaining knowledge of office work and working for two-three years are sent home. What will happen to their dependents? How will they run the family? Only when elections come, tall promises as high as the Eiffel Tower or Burj Khalifa are shown to voters.

I always wonder how and from where money comes to give full-page advertisements for them. No income tax, no raids, etc. The common man is suffering in this country. Only one term should be allowed, and a permanent defection bar should be imposed. Politics has become a circus.
