Assembly elections are fast approaching and it is surprising to see that in the smallest State of India there are nearly 11 political parties that are in fray and want to rule Goa.

Instead of uniting and forming a strong opposition, most of the parties feel they are the best to rule the State. They don’t understand that this will only lead to division of votes which will be bad for the future of Goa.

Remember, we have no right to complain about any issue if we don’t go out and vote.

Voting is not only our right, but it is our power to bring about a change. The vote is precious. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have in a democratic society and we must use it.

So in the next three months, choose a candidate who will protect Goa, take up issues relating to Goans and save our Bhangarachem Goem for posterity.
