We need development not Hindutva agenda

CM Pramod Sawant was officially elected to take our most peaceful descent state forward and to work for the all-round development of Goans.  Unfortunately, Sawant is today seen distracting Goans by continuously talking of rebuilding some imaginary ancient temples destroyed during the former Portuguese colonial regime and of bringing a anti-conversion law to somehow implement his Sangh Parivar's most divisive 'Hindutva agenda' in Goa.   Well, if Sawant is really so much  interested in protecting the culture/history of this state then why is he not shutting down all the casinos, dance bars, prostitution centres, drugs/liquor supplying outlets etc on top priority basis in Goa? Why is he not bringing a strict law to stop the builders lobby from converting our agricultural lands into plots?

Our Constitution clearly gives our citizens a fundamental birth right to practice, propagate and to choose the religion of one's own free choice. I therefore personally feel CM Sawant should stop talking of bringing his anti-conversion law with the sole intention of harassing/targeting the Christians in the state by spreading his own imaginary lies of forcible religious conversions.
