Why are FDA raids in Goa rare and toothless?

Instead of FDA raids in various places in Goa, why are food sellers not afraid of the FDA department while selling unhygienic, unhealthy food at open-air restaurants, hotels, gaddas and stores in Goa? It is observed that a few officers are corrupt and are suspended, but in the government, suspension means a three-month-long holiday with full salary, which they will receive altogether when they rejoin duty, and the same corruption will continue in full swing without fear. So, termination of job is the best solution to end the corruption of corrupt government officers. Government servants get good jobs and salaries, and instead of being honest and thankful, they loot the citizens of Goa. When the FDA team is corrupt and not doing their duties properly, whom will the people of Goa trust regarding the unhealthy and unhygienic food they eat? This is the main reason why chewing tobacco and pan masala packs are sold openly in our country. People are affected by cancer and make the corners of walls dirty by spitting red spots. Most of the restaurants and hotels in Goa are unhygienic, with cockroaches and flies roaming in their kitchens, and helpers in restaurants or small gaddas in villages suffering from skin diseases, which get transferred to the customers. The FDA is raiding only a few places and not reaching everywhere it should. If the FDA doesn’t take its duties seriously, then biryani sellers like the toilet biryani in Calangute will spread disease and viruses across the state. Hope the Health Minister and department will work in the interest of the public.

The said chicken and tomatoes were used for biryani and sold on food stalls. The FDA has sealed the stall, but this is not…
