Why VIP treatment for Ashish Mishra in custody?

Ashish Mishra, the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra who was arrested in the Lakhimpur Kheri murder of the four farmers has now been remanded for just 3 days in police custody with the condition that he will not be harassed and his lawyer will remain present during his interrogation. In other words, he will be treated like a big VIP whilst in police custody. I personally feel that as long as the Union Minister Ajay Mishra is in the Narendra Modi cabinet and does not resign, one should not expect any lawyer nor the UP police to keep his arrested son Ashish in jail for too long and to give justice to those killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

The said accused will just not be punished but will somehow be set free, given a Lok Sabha ticket as a reward and later sent to Parliament. That's because a known communal political party like the BJP is historically well-known for backing and sending such rogues to Parliament for its own survival.
