Will TMC’s entry split secular vote in Goa?

As a Goan, I am disgusted with the way Goa was run and is being run by the BJP. The recent attack by former Goa governor Satyapal Malik on BJP government being corrupt and the stoic silence of the Opposition

leaves one to guess the state of affairs in our Goa.

With Goa headed for elections in a few months, there are more parties wanting a slice of our beautiful state. The latest entrant is Trinamool Congress.

The question that comes to my mind is why did Mamata Didi’s TMC decide to take the political plunge at this late hour? Is she not aware of the risks involved namely a split Congress votes and allow BJP a back door entry? Is her action fair to Goans? Is this not a selfish action on her part?

Mamata is presently welcoming disgruntled members from other parties to join TMC with the hope of getting some seats. But does she know this will only backfire on her and help BJP to form the government by splitting the secular votes?

Goans should wake up and not fall prey to the devious tactics of political parties. Your vote is precious, you will not get another chance for the next five year. Its time to save our Bhangarachem Goem.
