CALL IT a sheer coincidence or simply a part of a strategy, both TMC supremo Mamata Didi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had engagements with fishermen during their visit to Goa. Well, after Didi descended at the Betim fish market, Rahul had an interaction with fishermen at the fishing village of Velsao. Sources say the TMC is believed to be working on a game plan. Don’t be surprised if Didi decides to field a couple of candidates hailing from the traditional fishermen community in the ensuing polls. Will the Congress follow suit? Wait and watch.

Against each other and against alliance too
