Withdraw FIRs against Velingkar protesters

Citizens facing FIRs for protesting against Subhash Velingkar's derogatory comments over St Francis Xavier in Margao, have reportedly accused the Goa government and police of double standards and selective targeting after being charged for blocking traffic to demand Velingkar's arrest. Well, the government and the Goa police are indeed well known for selectively harassing protesters only from the minority community but whole-heartedly backing 'goons' belonging to some right-wing organisations in different parts of the state despite they blocking so many national highways on different occasions on issues like Shivaji statues, Shreya Dhargalkar, etc & by even using violence. Well, the government and the Goa Police should stop this madness of harassing people on communal lines, withdraw the FIRs registered against the devotees/followers of St Francis Xavier for their street protests held in Margao last month and instead should arrest Subhash Velingkar  because it was he alone who had instigated people throughout the state by openly hurting their religious sentiments and daringly making derogatory remarks against St Francis Xavier (popularly known as 'Goencho Saib) at a function in Bicholim.
