The ZP by-election for the 3 constituencies is over and we have seen that the turnout was very less. Yes, people of Goa have lost their trust in elections as the representatives we elect are joining other parties without the knowledge of voters and later gives excuse saying that they have joined BJP government for development. Even after 75 years of independence we don't have good roads, no proper electricity on streets and homes, PWD water supply system which are on the middle of roads and improper garbage disposal issues throughout the state and we invite tourists to visit Goa?
Our country's laws must be made strong enough so that not a single MLA deserts one party and joins another. Today politicians have taken the citizens of this country for granted as the laws of our country are not strong enough or in a favour of public but in the favour of politicians. Election Commission of India should bring in reforms in poll system. Hope the ZP elected members from each constituency carry out all the work which will benefit the public.
