The recent surge in scams points to the proliferation of OTPs and 'links'. Scamsters find it easy to target old people. But scams are not limited to elderly. Everyone is falling prey to scams. Some years ago, such scams were unheard of. Ironically , OTPs were introduced to prevent these scams. The question arises :' If these OTPs and 'links' are indispensable today, how did we survive without them in the past? I strongly believe they were introduced to reduce manpower in a very subtle way. Today, we are using AI unabashedly to cut down on human intervention. AI is cannibalising human jobs. We are knowingly or unknowingly, destroying our own future and the future of our children. It is time to oppose these new weapons of mass (manpower) destruction. Robots will take over every conceivable white collar job. And nobody will benefit by AI, except the billionaires. Dollar millionaires will become billionaires and even trillionaires. This new class of ruthless oligarchs is greedy for money and power. So let's get wise and checkmate AI at every stage. It's now or never.
