Gen Z has grown up with phones in their hands and has been scrolling through reels since they were babies. I am pretty sure they have grown up watching videos of PM Modi saying “Didi o Didi”, “50 Crore Ki Girlfriend” and “Beti Ki Setting”. They must have been bombarded in their early years by bhakts posting Sonia Gandhi’s morphed pictures in a bikini, BJP MPs watching porn in Parliament, and the entire IT cell calling Sonia Gandhi a “Bar Dancer”. So it is only natural that they will use language similar to what they were subjected to during their formative years. I would rather have a generation using foul language while doing good things than a generation that sent rapists and criminals to Parliament and uses ‘unparliamentary’ language to address the opposition.
