The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP), once a strong voice advocating Goan interests, appears to have lost its way. Internal egos, persistent infighting and blame games have weakened the party. Several loyal members have left, disillusioned by the leadership’s failure to resolve these differences. If a party cannot manage its internal affairs, how can it effectively champion the concerns of Goa and its people after winning elections? This raises serious questions about its future. With supporters divided and demoralised, the RGP risks losing its relevance in Goan politics. It must set aside personal differences, reunite and refocus on its core mission. Goa deserves a party that prioritises public welfare and leads with integrity. The time has come for the RGP to introspect and rebuild, or make way for leadership that genuinely represents Goans’ aspirations.
