Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev
The Vampire Diaries stars dated for three years before parting ways but the duo continued to be a couple on the hit TV show as Damon and Elena before Nina exited the show. Somerhalder then went on to marry actress Nikki Reed and rumours about a feud between the two actresses had been doing the rounds for quite awhile. And with Nina recently returning for the finale of The Vampire Diaries, these rumours were brought to the fore again. However Nikki took to Instagram to put these stories to rest once and for all. Terming them as 'baseless rumours', Nikki posted a long message in which she attacked “low brow websites” for concocting falsities, adding that she felt that they had a moral responsibility to end these tales because in not doing so, they were “teaching girls that you have to hate other girls”.
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
Another former couple who have been trying their best to avoid running into each other but can't seem to get away with it, thanks to their upcoming film together Jagga Jasoos. While fans were speculating whether they would indeed promote the film together, it looks like Anurag Basu has managed to do that. As per reports, the director sat down and told them how he wants them both to promote this film and has finally managed to convince them. It does remain to be seen if the couple will be willing to open up about their former relationship in the bargain.
Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush
The duo met on the sets of One Tree Hill and finally tied the knot in 2005. However, five months of marriage, Sophia filed for divorce. The duo did stay on the show for awhile but Murray decided to leave the show before the seventh season. The show handled it by getting Lukas ( played By Chad) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) to leave One Tree Hill and raise their kids on the road. His ouster did sort of affect the show as his character of Lukas was the central focus on the show.

Although they played siblings on the show, their real life relationship went beyond that and the two actors began dating and married in 2008. However they broke off things in 2011. But with Dexter
already a huge hit, the divorcees had to keep showing up to work, until Jennifer's exit was written into the show as fans watched on in horror as Debra was killed off.
Ranbir and Deepika
Ranbir shouldn't find it too difficult to be professional while working with his exes as he already has some experience in that department. The actor who previously dated Deepika Padukone went on to star in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.In fact the ex-couple got on so well, that there were rumours that Katrina who was at that time dating Ranbir, wasn't too happy with their closeness.
Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki
The duo who were paired with each other on hit show "The Big Bang Theory," as Penny and Leonard began dating each other in real life. They dated for about 2 years before breaking up, but they remained friends. Kaley is now happily married to her husband Ryan Sweeting.
Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor
Although it was never confirmed there were plenty of rumours going around that Shahid Kapoor was dating his costar Priyanka Chopra during the shooting of Kaminey. While they ultimately parted ways, they continued to work together and shared screen space in Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahaani in 2012. Though the film didn't work too well at the box-office, the duo looked great together.
