Can you imagine a world without cartoons? With their humorous yet innocent faces, these folk were responsible for some of our best childhood memories as we eagerly snuggled up on our sofa everyday to watch their delightful antics, often copying them in real life too.
We’ve laughed when Jerry got away with everything and felt sorry for Tom who was always punished, were awestruck with Richie Rich’s wealth, gulped along with Scooby Dooby Doo when a new ghost made an appearance and happily sung along to the theme song for He-Man. Even today, most of us wouldn't mind binge watching back to back episodes of Teletubbies or Courage the Cowardly Dog whenever they’re on. So, it came as a welcome surprise when it was announced that all time favorite cartoon show Duck Tales is all set for a 2017 comeback. While we can't wait to see Huey, Dewey, and Louie up to their mischief yet again and snarl at Mr Scrooge and his miser ways, we got a few youngsters to tell us about other shows which they would love to see again
QUOTES
I would love to see 'Kochikame' on Hungama again. I remember coming home from school and waiting eagerly at 2.30 pm for the show to come on. These episodes were so carefree and vivacious that any child watching this would love all the characters involved in it. This show also helps in relating to situation and personalities that are around you.”

“I wish Tom and Jerry would come on TV again because it was so funny and reminds me of my childhood. I want this cartoon to be showed more often because the younger children should watch this old but entertaining show.”
Sara Dewani, Panjim
“I’d say that I’d like to watch The Simpsons more. It’s been airing for so long and it’s a really good show. But since it doesn’t air on Cartoon Network, I’d say even The Flintstones are pretty good. Whenever, I find the time, I’d love to watch both series.”

“Dragon Ball Z was the best show when I was young. I loved it so much that every evening around 6:30 pm I would go over to my friend’s home and watch it on TV. I’d sometimes even miss my evening classes for the show as I loved it so much.”

“Well, As a kid, I remember waking up during holidays just in time to watch my favourite cartoon, Baby Looney Toons. It had all my favourite characters and the cutest of them was actually Granny who till date reminds me of my own Grandmother.”
Veloshka Da Costa, Nuvem
“I loved watching the TV show Dragon Tales. It was one of the funniest TV shows I’ve ever watched. Contrary to what the name suggests, the show didn’t include any violence or catastrophes. Instead, it had such an interesting concept as it geared to create a happy, friendly and positive environment. It would always put me in a good mood and I really hopes it airs again.”
