Here's your opportunity to help young children and at the same time, have a jolly good time yourself.
A night of splendid Chamber Music awaits you today evening at Panaji's Institute Menezes Braganza (IMB).
For the uninitiated, Chamber Music is a popular form of classical music, which is played with the help of limited number of musical instruments. Chamber music was once patronised by the royalty of Europe,
who enjoyed classical performances by ensembles of the time, in large, airy palace chambers, hence the name of this classical musical art form.
Today evening's performance has been organised as a charity event by Child’s Play India Foundation, a registered not for profit Trust. The trio of musicians who are putting together the performance are Laura Reccardi on the violin, Anjela Feola on the piano and Jonathan Bager on the flute.
The globally recognised trio of performers will perform classical pieces written by some of the world's greatest Western Classical composers like Vivaldi, Corelli, Schumann and others.
Sounds like music to the ears, and the fact that it is a charity event, should make your heart feel
lighter too. Donation passes are available at Furtados Music stores in Panaji and Margao.
